At Capricorn Skin & Laser Centre, we aim to provide the highest quality of service as well as using the latest technology to provide our patients with the best treatment to suit each individuals needs. Our History
Capricorn Skin & Laser Centre was founded in 2009. The aim was to establish a clinic for Central Queensland patients to receive the highest quality diagnostic services and treatments for healthy skin. Capricorn Skin & Laser Centre is a medically based clinic. We employ Doctors with the highest qualifications in the skin and cosmetic medicine fields. This also allows us to gain access to the latest medical advances and technologies in Skin Cancer and cosmetic medicine.Capricorn Skin & Laser Centre is conveniently located in the Red Hill Homemaker Centre, North Rockhampton. Our newly established practice includes a spacious, fully equipped operating theatre and private, tranquil cosmetic treatment rooms.

Dr Sally Buchan
MB ChB
Sally is one of our valued Cosmetic Medicine Doctors. She has a dedicated interest in Cosmetic Medicine and has traveled throughout Australia and abroad to further her skills and education in the latest treatments in non-surgical cosmetic medicine. Dr Buchan is a member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic Medicine and has achieved her Certificate of Sclerotherapy with the Australasian College of Phlebology.
Dr Darius Adybeik
MD FRACGP FSCCA PGDip Dermatology (Cardiff)
Darius is a fellow of both Skin Cancer College Australasia and Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He holds a postgraduate diploma in dermatology from Cardiff University and has completed fellowship training with Skin Cancer College Australasia. He has been in the field of Skin Cancer Medicine since 2008 and was working in a plastic surgery setting at the Gold Coast for 3 years (2013-2016) where he was trained in advanced skin cancer reconstructive procedures. Before moving to Rockhampton, Darius was working in a specialised dermatology clinic in Newcastle. His main area of interest is medical and surgical management of skin cancer including reconstructive surgery when required.

Joanne Mackie is our Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) Co-Ordinator. Jo began her career with us in February 2017 and since then has achieved her laser licence with Radiation Health Queensland. Jo works closely with our Doctors in providing all of our PDT consultations, treatments and post treatment check-ups. Jo is also fully trained and qualified in IPL treatments, microdermabrasion, asap facials and skin care prescribing as well as assisting our Doctors with cosmetic injecting.
Our highly trained skin and theatre nurses are continuously developing and extending their knowledge in the latest advances in Skin Cancer medicine. At Capricorn Skin & Laser Centre, you will receive superior care from a nursing team with over 70 years of combined experience in theatre and skin nursing.
