What is Non-surgical Lesion Removal?
The procedure uses high frequency radiowaves to remove unwanted raised lesions such as skin tags, moles and other raised lesions.
How does Non-surgical Lesion Removal differ from traditional surgery?
When radiowaves are used instead of a scalpel or laser, only the tissue immediately adjacent to the wire electrode are affected. This results in less bleeding than with a scalpel and the chance of scarring is significantly minimised. Also, recovery after non-surgical mole removal is shorter and more comfortable than after laser surgery.
How quickly will I notice results?
Once the lesion has been treated your skin will appear pink but smooth. The site may scab over and heal in up to 7 days and your skin should return to its usual colour within 6 months. One visit is all that is required for most procedures.
Is it painful?
We use a fine needle to inject a local anaesthetic, which may sting a little. After this is done there is no more pain involved.
What does it cost?
The cost for non-surgical Lesion removal can vary between patients however, the following is a general overview:
- 1st Lesion ............... $150.00
