Cosmetic Tattooing is a semi permanent procedure to enhance facial features.
The cosmetic treatment defines your eyes or brows with a soft, natural appearance.

Cosmetic tattooing is semi-permanent. In some cases, ink has been obvious for 5-10 years, however some skin types hold colour more permanently than others. It is recommended a touch up of colour should be done approximately every 1-2 years to keep the tattoo looking fresh and defined. Two treatments are required, this includes your initial treatment and then a perfection visit 4-6 weeks after.

Cosmetic tattooing is especially beneficial for people who:
·         Simply want to enhance or define their current features
·         Are unable to apply makeup for any reason (eg. poor eyesight)
·         Are busy and don't have time to spend on their makeup
·         Have unsteady hands
·         Suffer from eye allergies caused by makeup
·         Play sport and don't want to worry about 'sweating off' or re-applying makeup
·         Have thinning or no eyebrows

Is there discomfort involved?
The sensation can vary from person-to-person. A high quality, medical grade anaesthetic is applied for the eye area procedures to significantly reduce discomfort.

Do I need to take time off work, and are there side effects to cosmetic tattooing?
If there is any swelling this may last from two to seventy two hours. There may be some sensitivity for a few days following your treatment. The colour implanted will be darker than you would expect for the first 5-10 days, the colour will then fade up to 40%. Most people do not need to take time off from their employment for eyebrow or eyeliner procedures.

Do I have a choice of colour or intensity?
There are a large range of pigment colours available. Your colour will be created to suit your individual skin colour and tone; it will then be tested on your skin for your approval prior to the tattooing procedure beginning.

Who will be doing the tattooing?
All cosmetic tattooing is performed by Michelle, our Cosmetic Coordinator. Michelle has completed training with the Australian Cosmetic Tattoo College and is a member of the Association of Cosmetic Tattoo.
